We would be happy for you just to sit in our gardens watching the birds and listening to the bubbling of the stream as it passes the mill. But you may want a more active holiday - there are plenty of opportunities.

Here are some suggestions:

• Walking - there are a number of footpaths and bridleways nearby; try the mill trails
• Fishing - we can help arrange fishing on the local rivers, and tuition if required
• Horse riding - including beach rides can be arranged
• Cycling - there are trails in the Brechfa Forest and at Pembrey Country Park
• Golf - the nearest course is about a mile away, at Saron (pay and play)
• Canoeing - is available on the Teifi at Llandysul and at Cilgerran
• Dry skiing - there are dry ski slopes at Pembrey Coastal Park and near Llangranog
• Boat trips - search out the seals and dolphins on a boat trip from Newquay
• Steam railways - the nearest is at Henllan, just over a mile away, and there is another at Bronwydd, just off the road to Carmarthen
• Amusement parks - Oakwood, Folly Farm, to name just two
